I got hired at HashiCorp in 2019 to work on Consul tutorials and documentation. Now I run the Terraform Education team, who make the content at learn.hashicorp.com/terraform.

In 2018 I joined Kong to run on Developer Marketing as they shifted their focus from API gateways to service meshes.

In 2016 I got my first job in official tech, as the community manager for Apache Mesos and DC/OS.

After graduate school I automated office logistics and helped with events and scheduling for the Clayton Christensen Institute of Disruptive Innovation.

As a graduate student at Hopkins Marine Station I helped teach and mentor undergraduates, and researched which end of a starfish is the head end.

To get research experience after college I genotyped gastrointestinal stromal tumors and papillomas in a cancer-research lab at OHSU.

Oregon Zoo
After graduating college I got a summer job managing volunteers, calming terrified children, and answering questions for an animatronic dinosaur exhibit at the zoo.

During college I became a certified nuclear reactor operator, giving tours, operating the reactor, and helping to design emergency drills.
